CLASS 2A STATE FIRST-ROUND RESULTS ... Here are the first-round results (attached to the left) from the 2011 Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association's Class 2A Nevada State High School Boys Golf Championship ournament, presented by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and Farmers Insurance Group, played Monday (May 16) over the 6,050-yard, par-72 Genoa Lakes Golf Course in Genoa. The second/final round is scheduled to be played Tuesday over the 6,365-yard, par-72 Edgewood-Tahoe Golf Course in Stateline.

FINAL RESULTS from the 2010 NIAA Class 2A Nevada State High School Boys Golf Championship tournament (Tuesday @ Rivers Edge in Needles, Calif.), presented by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and Farmers Insurance Group, are now posted. The course played 6,189-yards and to a par of 71. Weather conditions were mostly sunny, breezy and warm with a high reaching 92. The second and final round is scheduled to be played Wednesday.
