STATE BASKETBALL MASTER SET (all four) OF BRACKETS (2011 from the Orleans Arena, Las Vegas)

Special 3A Northern League (state seeding) tie-breaker for 2012:

When then determining the state seeding after the 3A Northern League playoff games...

1) If one No. 1 seed wins and two No. 2 seeds win, the No. 1 seed gets the new #1 spot for state while the other two playoff game winners go in to a tie-breaker for the #2 and #3 state seeds... of course, if one No. 2 wins, then that team is automatically a #3 and the other two playoff game winners go in to a tie-breaker for the #1 and #2 state positions.

2) League-scheduled cross overs count in the tie-breaking process (for state seeding only) but those teams that happened to face each other in a tournament CANNOT use those games as tie-breakers.

3) Head-to-head mini-standings (say, for example, that all three No. 1 playoff teams win) will be the first tie-breaker... best record earns the highest seed.

4) Common opponents in league-scheduled cross covers will be the next tie-breaker... best record gets the top seed.

5) The 15-point system (max. margin of victory - loss) will be used as the third tie-breaker (within common opponents)... best margin gets the top seed.

Note:  As always, if one team is ADVANCED in the tie-breaker, the other two remaining teams (assuming they are both No. 1s or No. 2s) go back to the start of the tie-breaker looking at head-to-head, then common opponents and then 15-point margin of victory.
