Officials Registration Information

The NIAA official’s registration process requires all officials to register with the NIAA through ArbiterSports and their local association.

Once initial registration is completed, the appropriate local association will be notified that you have joined their group.

As part of the registration process officials must consent to a background check and are required to make payment (credit/debit card only) for NIAA sport registration ($20 per sport), NFHS Liability Insurance ($17 - one time per year fee), and Peopletrail background check fee ($9.50 - one time per year fee). NEW this year is a one time per year $4 fee for ArbiterMobile (also/previously referred to as ArbiterConnect).

OPTIONAL PURCHASE OF 17-18 NIAA ACTIVTY CARD NOW AVAILABLE: Officials may also purchase a 2017-2018 NIAA Activity Card for $35 during the registration process - which gains the card holder and one guest admittance into any NIAA sanctioned event during the entire 2017-2018 school year (post-season included).
